Research and planning - Drafts Of College Magazine

Here is a draft of a college magazine i made!

On the front page the college name would appear in a bright bold font to catch the readers attention. There would be a picture of two students smiling warmly at the camera to create a friendly atmosphere and make you want to read on. Moreover, there would be cover lines on the front of the magazine so the reader would know what to expect inside.

On the double page spread, I would use bright colours to entice the reader in, as well as that I would use a wide shot photograph of a student. As this double page is called 'Question of University', the photograph of the friendly Uni student would make the reader feel more comfortable and confident in the matter, as the student is portraying a welcoming atmosphere.

On the final page, 'After School Activities', I would continue the theme of using vibrant eye catching colours, as well as a bold header so the reader knows what this page is about. I would also include a picture of three students, smiling and laughing at the camera. This coveys the sense of enjoyment, making the reader wanting to be apart of this school activity!
